   My name is Stacie Moretti and I have recently taken over as the Teen Program Director at the Boys and Girls Club of Dorchester. I am currently in the process of overhauling the program completely by incorporating new ideas and activities for the teens who utilize the center to thoroughly enjoy and become engaged in. In the past, programs offered have generated little interest which as lead to a drop in attendance.
   My staff recently generated a survey and asked our teens what programs they would be interested in participating in and belly dancing came in at the top of the list. I have recently reviewed your website and checked out the programs that you offer and they seem like they would be a good fit for our teens. My goal is to have a group of 6-12 of our members to looking to participate in this program. Here at the club we have a multipurpose room that would be able to accommodate anywhere from 15-25 teens and staff to supervise the activity.
   My goal here as the Teen Program Director is to empower the young ladies by giving them the tools and resources to feel confident and reach their full potential, I strive to be a positive mentor by modeling respect, fairness, positivity, and discipline. I feel as though your program would benefit the teenagers that frequent my facility tremendously by also teaching them respect for themselves, helping to promote positive body image, and also teach them a new way to promote a healthy lifestyle. I would love to work with you and possibly set up a meeting with you to talk about you possibly coming to the Boys and Girls Club and offering a class.
