Chiftetelli Combo

Would you like to do some dancing right now?

Throw on some clothes you can move in, tie a scarf around your hips (if you have one), and let’s get started!

This 6-minute video is an excerpt from a class I taught at the Somerville Community Arts Festival, courtesy of Somerville Community Access TV.

You’ll learn a slow, fluid belly dance combination for the Chiftetelli rhythm.
The teaching segment is followed by an interview with me and one of my students.

This combination uses four movements:

  • Shoulder rolls
  • Hip circles
  • Hip crescents (half circles)
  • 3-count turns

If you aren’t already familiar with those movements, you can learn how to do them in my free online class.
